Is misdiagnosis of ADHD common in adults?

Social media opened the conversation about attention deficit hyperactivity disorder widely, leading some to feel they may have it and haven’t been properly diagnosed. A new survey in the United States suggests that about 25 per cent of American adults suspect they have undiagnosed ADHD. Canada Tonight’s medical contributor Dr. Samir Gupta gives an overview of the possible risks of misdiagnosing ADHD.
